What is a good OTC carpet cleaner. I get a lot of salt in the carpet corners and it makes it hard. Isnt the northeast fun

the most common carpet cleaners i`ve read about on autopia (and used) are:



--Woolite (varying dilutions depending on the stain or purpose)

--Folex (got mine from Home Depot for $7)



Folex is GREAT for spot treating...Woolite seems better for general use.



There are a few very long, detailed threads regarding carpet products...I think Grouse (sorry if that`s the wrong autopian) is a professional with extensive training and experience in this area...he does not agree with the Woolite option...meanwhile ScottWax loves it.
