Winterizing Chrome Wheels?

I couldn`t really find much on chrome wheels other than cleaning them. I have the factory chromes on my Bonneville and I`m wondering if there are any special ways people use to protect them in winter other than just sealant/wax?

Zaino or Collinite 845 works well on wheels

I`m planning to probably try Meg`s #21 topped with either 845 or 476 on the car. Should I use a sealant on the wheels also, or is that not necessary?
