I have been using Viking 100% cotton mitts for a long time. Now that they are hard to find, I am moving to sheepskin.

At my local Walmart, how do I check for the "best" Eurow sheepskin mitts? Do I go by how heavy, or ones that are the most flexible, or ones that are the tightest woven or plushest? Thought it would be simple, now am more confused. Thanks.

pick and feel them like fruit (they will all vary). i always try to find the most plushest well rounded ones from top to bottom. sometimes i`ll leave empty handed because none of the mitts were up to my expectations...

Thick, heavy, plush/soft.

Where else can u guys find mitts OTC. I had gone to my usual two Advance Auto stores and they have nothing but chenille or MF mitts. I then started heading to walmart. Now they`re out too. Where else guys?

If you go to exceldetail, Patrick actually seperates his wash mitts out by weight, so you can specifically order a heavy (and therefore plush) mitt... you`ll pay more for it, of course, but it`s nice to know exactly what you`re getting.

Thanks, I guess I will be making a trip back to Walmart :o . If no luck I will touch base with Patrick (personally I will not risk the Vroom ones either).

you should buy from a boutique dealer and make Walmart your last resort. Help out the little guy.

I have tried most of them out there and I prefer the Sonus mitts (no thumb) from Autopia .
