04 Honda Accord (56 K Warning)

I cleaned this up for a felllow autopian, mattz. All he wanted done was to have the paint cleaned up on it. I not only cleaned the paint, but the wheels and tires, interior and the engine for him. The car itself is in great shape, but it has been painted sometime in its life and there was overspray on the whole car, which gave it a dull and dingy look. Now it has a bright and glowing look to it.



My process:

1. Wash and dry entire car including engine bay.

2. Clay entire car.

3. Hi-Temp Extreme Cut applied with yellow cyclo pads.

4. Meguiars #7 applied with green cyclo pads.

5. Meguiars NXT applied with white cyclo pads.

6. Dressed all rubber and molding.

7. Cleaned all glass, lights, and wheels.

8. Wiped down and vacuumed interior.

Looks pretty good, nice and wet. Don`t you think you should have stepped down to a mild finishing polish after the EC? Also, was this car clearcoated or not?

Yes the car is clearcoated. I was wondering when that question was going to come up. The one thing I like about the EC is that you can go straight from it to lsp if needed. I have gone from EC to NXT on a dark blue crv with no problems also.

Thanks for the compliment. I am super happy with the wheels, they totally changed the car. Not a member on that website, car is a 4 banger :).
