I want to use my PC to apply the Klasse twins because based on my experiances with other products, I feel you get a better, more glass like finish then doing it by hand. But the Klasse instructions say to apply very thin - 1 oz. should be enough for the avg sized vehicle.

Now I could see the pad sucking up an oz or two.

How do you condition your pads prior to use... special conditioner spray, distilled water, QD, spray wax ???

I mist my pad with water and massage it in, then 3 small pea size drops. on the first few panels. after that, 2 drops.

I don`t worry too much about how much AIO I use; it wipes off easily enough even when you use too much (within reason). Doing AIO by PC gives me much better/easier cleaning than I can get by hand, all those orbits-per-minute.

With KSG though, I always apply by hand. Try as I might, I just can`t get *nearly* as thin an application by machine and I end up with a lot of wasted product in the pad. By hand, I don`t use close to an ounce to do our minivan. So for me, it`s AIO by PC, KSG by hand.

I agree with Accumulator........mine is based on pre-Werkstatt.

PC for AIO (Prime)

MF Skinny for SG (AJ)

The best sealant pad I have found: http://detailersparadise.com/View.asp?Id=6111262005504402-691513519634

Try a mf bonnet to cover the PC`s pad.

That`s what I use to buff off LSPs. The suede-style ones seem to work the best with thin sealants like KSG.
