Salt stains on plastic lens of headlight how to approach?

Hi there juss joined the form...



after many times using links like polishing plastic, to get my turnsignals lookin brand new...



now I have a bigger project to tackle...



I juss got these headlights from a great friend of mine....he sold them for cheap..



but the problem is that there is a stain on this plastic headlight cover...well I say salt but it looks pretty much its baked on there good...



so I dont know how to approach this, my only idea would be using steps to restoring a yellow stained headlight...



any ideas on how to clean this up and makin it look new again?????
