He said that was minor, but I don`t think so. Can that be professionally repaired or is it too scuffed up :nixweiss:

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I`m new here :usa

You can probably strip the clear coat off and polish the wheels

Could it be something I could tackle at home? Like maybe use some steel wool then apply a fine polish with my PC then throw some wax on it?

They look bad to me but I`m really picky, maybe they`re not TOO bad at all :chuckle:

Thanks. That wheel in the picture looks to be the worst out of the rest. The others just have minor chips and marring along the lip.

There is 100% nothing you can do, don`t try. They have to be profesionally redone or you can have them sanded and painted.

Here are two similar types of damaged rims, (rims not the same, but the damage is and these are more severe)

kinda off topic but is it me or are those lug patterns WAY to close to each other.

agreed 100% awefully strange, might wanna keep looking for your wheels, as suggested if itll cost you a benjamin a wheel you might be able to get some in great condition for 400 more dollars.

as people have suggested, spend your hard-earned cash somewhere else. they look dodgy with those stud patterns like the owner drilled a set of new ones themselves.

Those lug holes were definitely re-drilled. The buyer probably just screwed up and bought the wrong wheels and then drilled new holes instead. Let those wheels be someone elses problem.

The going rate for wheel repair down here in Florida is $125-$150. I doesn`t matter how bad they are.

The story on the lug pattern is because they`re 4x108, same on my car. You can`t find much at all for that bolt pattern and Axis (the maker of these rims) can factory redrill any of their 4x100 wheels that have a centercap.

It does look weird, though. They don`t sell those rims anymore, or anything cool that fits 4x108 for that matter besides Konig wheels :doh

Thanks for your help though guys, I had no idea about wheel damage since I`m usually a fan of taking care of them and not letting this happen in the 1st place :nixweiss
