this is a work in progress...just got it tonight and have about 5.5 hours into it so far. hard to believe this car is only one year old. :(
it had bugs and grime beyond anything i have seen yet. my "junk" soap (meg GC) would not touch it...i ended up switching to a strong dawn mix to cut through the road slime and grease all over. it was literally just smearing around until i used dawn.
lots of small impact damage on the car...good thing it is white or it would look terrible from the scratches, etc. this is also my first white vehicle detail and i am learning the challenges of white!

Good luck and I will be watching for the afters. I would be ashamed to drive it, if that were my car.
I have learned a lot about a white vehicle since I bought my truck (http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69788) 13 months ago. I have come to the conclusion that white and black are two of the hardest colors to get to look right. I always have people telling me that they did not know that white could be that impressive and they thought it was a boring color. For me white is a very hard color to maintain at an autopia level because it shows every little thing. I guess 99% of the people out there think white is easy to care for because they never have seen a flawless white vehicle. Most of them are used to seeing the dirty white paint and not the pure contaminate free white paint that us autopiains see on our own vehicles.

That car is like an exact clone of my great aunts accord without the hair...good luck

How do people allow their vehicles to get that bad?

If possible I would remove the 2 front seats for easier clean up of the interior. The mat I would pressure clean after a good vacuum and treatment.

here are the rest of the pics...finished up after a total of just under 8 hours. it`s far from perfect (lots of further correction needed on the hood and elsewhere)...but had to call it quits due to time.
the mats came out pretty good...the carpet on the driver`s side is still pretty bad. if i get the car back in the future i`ll have to work on that area a lot more.
process:
1. 2+ hours of washing w/ strong Dawn concentrate (after giving up w/ Meg`s GC that i normally use)
2. clay (Zaino)
3. DACP w/ orange LC (1-3 passes depending on area)
4. SSR-1 w/ white LC (1 pass everywhere)
5. start on interior (vacuum, wipedown dash, windows, and work on mats)
6. wash exterior again to remove polish dust and work on tires a bit more
7. 4* UPP...assist removal w/ 4* UPPS
8. finish up carpeting and dress interior w/ 303
9. scrub leather until my arms wanted to fall off...
10. continue scrubbing leather...ultimately gave up! followed APC and wet MF`s w/ Z-9/z-10

Hard to believe that Accord was an `05. Yuck.
Excellent turnaround. :)
