Hey,
I`m looking for a good vacuum / air dryer for the cars. I don`t know what dryer blows enough air to dry my cars & is also good to vacumm.....any help ? Or should I just get one from home depot ?

I quite like my wet/dry Shop-Vac. Lots of suction for dry vacuuming and extractions, but I`ve never tried to use it as a blower.

how much do you want to spend?
A mytee hp-60 spyder has both vacuum and blower.

Well, I really don`t know how much a decent one will go for....but 1200 bucks, I rather buy a TV.

That is far more than just a vacuum with a blower attachment.
I have a cosco shop vac with a blower set up and it works fine. it`s all about what you are planing to do with it, and what you want to do in general.

How about buying a standard Shop Vac and then also buying a leaf blower dedicated to drying? I don`t think you`re going to get the power for blow drying your car from a vac like you would a leaf blower that`s dedicated to pushing air out.

Yes. The 5 hp will be more than enough. Some people have mentioned that they are worried the vacuum is going to pull the carpet off on the interior :)

Sears has a good variety as well with a blower option, and lots of attatchments. You will need to buy the crevice tool for it though.
