2006 Toyota Corolla. Father and I switched cars for the day and figured I might as well detail it for him. Car is brand new, only owned it for a few months. Had some light spider webbing, and a bird bomb that stained a bit of the roof paint. I really should of clayed, but I didn`t have time to go and buy a claybar.

Interior got Quick Interior Detailer on rubber, vinyl, plastic, 303 Aerospace Protectant on dash, Vacuumed, 4:1 Woolite on carpets/Folex on stains, Extracted w/ Bissell LGCM

Exterior got a NXT wash, OP via PC Light cutting pad 5-6, #16 via PC Finishing pad 4

Wheels/Tires cleaned with Eagle one A2Z,Wheel Wax, NoTouch Seriously Wet for wheel wells, Meguiars All Season Dressing for tires and the Glass got WonderGel

Evenflow,

Beautiful job. The sun shot says it all, no swirls. Your Dad should be happy and you should be proud. :2thumbs:

OP + #16 is hard to beat as a two step combo on paint with only light defects. Beautiful wet gloss! :)

That loks brilliant! Really glossy wet finish. Have never tirf the Optimum range of polishes and compounds myself, i`ll have to give them a go after seeing this! :)

Definitely give them a go, you will be impressed.

Besides some dirt I had to vacuum up the rest of the interior was in almost excellent condition. Had some scuff marks that just wouldn`t come off, but I made them less visible.

Definitely a great two step. I tried out a polishing pad first, but that didn`t seem to do much with the spider webbing. The light cutting pad made quick business of it. Light cutting pads and the Optimum lines seem to work very well together. I was surprised with the result I got from #16. It really did give the paint a nice glow, im just waiting for it to rain so I can see the beading.

Great job - terrific finish. The only thing I see that`s not quite `detail right` (as is ofen the case) is the drivers side carpet mat . They get so bad they`re near impossible to clean (as was the case with my recent detail of my mother-in-laws car)...

Hmm...when I prepped my lease vehicle to turn it in back in June, I took it to the coin-op car wash after I cleaned up the inside. The drivers side mat was aweful with dirt AND salt (northeast winters- uhg!) This car wash has clips for your mats to spray them ... so I clipped up the mat and pressure washed it - it was totally cleaned! ... next time I get out the power washer!

awesome job, gotta love the swirl free dripping red paint! :2thumbs:

p.s. you gotta love the eo1 all wheel & tire cleaner, it does a great job on nasty wheels/tires...
