Okay, I`m definately a beginner at all of this so be easy on me. This is my mother-in-laws Toyota Camry that I detailed for her a couple weeks ago.

Process:

Bug and Tar remover on front (was really bad)

Wash

Clay

Megs #9 by hand

NXT paste on car and wheels

next morning car got coat of #26

Tires and wheels wells w/ Dupont Tire Shine

Did the interior too but it was in great shape so no pictures.

I took pictures after each step so bare with me here. Pictures start with before and then through the steps.

Looks great! White can be a tough color to get to look right- it just doesn`t shine like darks, but you did a great job!

I see MO plates. You close to St. Louis?? I`m just 30 miles on the Illinois side.

Very nice! Excellent wetness and gloss for white paint. :)

That looks great - white is a hard colour to get a glossy wet finish on but you`ve got one there, excellent work!

Thanks for the comments. I`ve got to get a PC though. My arm was about to fall off when I was done and I know it would have been even better with the right tools. This place has gotten me so addicted to detailing in the past few months that my wallet can`t keep up with my obsession. Thanks for that autopia.

Wow! Looks amazing....nice choice going with NXT the finish definately looks crystal clear and reflective.

Once you get the PC you`ll be amazed at how quickly things go compared to now. As your finding out already, you`ll be amazed at how quickly your detailing bills build up :chuckle: It looks like you`re enjoying detailing though, and that`s what really matters! It`s a fun hobby to be part of, especially with a forum like this to be able to share it with others.

Yeah, it`s definately addicting. I`m doing a wash, wax, and interior detail for my wife`s aunt tonight and that should get me that last little bit of money I need for the PC. I`m more excited than I am at Christmas time.
