Hello all. My mother has an 06 Murano that she hit the side of the garage with this morning. The side of the truck and edge of the wheel well is scuffed up pretty good with white garage paint left on the car. Looks like I can scrub it off with my fingernail. Just curious what steps I can take to clean it up as best I can before getting a body shop involved. I do not own a PC. :( Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks very similar to this (not my image, my appologies to the man in the picture):

scratch x or color x or a polish with some mild abrasives.

I would clay it first to remove the paint transfer, then scratchx might do the trick. Most of it is probably paint transfer, and that should come off pretty easily with some clay.

Thanks folks. The paint wasn`t coming off with clay very well (Pinnacle Poly Clay), so I hit it with some isopropal alcohol. That took it right off. Whatever was left came off with a few passes of the clay and clay lube. Then went over it with some Megs cleaner wax and it looks 100 times better. I`ll pickup some scratch x tommorrow and see if I can get some of the scuffs/scratches out a bit better. There are a couple of dents unfortunately, but nothing I can do about that. :sadpace:

Thanks for the input!
