Following a recent cry of help I loaded the Altea up with everything needed and did a rare trip out to help undertake a couple of details. The trips down a a bit of a traffic nightmare, but next morning the weather was all clear and looked good to get on and detail. Then just as I was all set up up and ready to start washing, it started to rain - well actually more like the heavens opened!

Once it slowed down, I started on Small! Quick spray over with APC and then karcher chassis and all over :D

with SMALL all completed for now, it was time to start washing down BIG. Here some before`s, sorry, forgot to take `roof` befores which was a shame as this was the area that needed the most attention.

First job was to spray the roof with a diluted APC mixture,

leave to soak, then karcher it off and start to hand wash the ground in dirt away. Here`s a couple of half and half shots where the karcher and APC have already removed most of the dirt, and I`m just wash mitting to remove the rest.

Then washed down sides, cab and rear using the karcher and standard car shampoo. The sun started to appear so drying was very easy, just a couple of pat dry areas to do. I then used my one step cleaning combo on the cab, this was followed over with megs #20, using megs 20 on the whole van.

Tyres were treated to a very healthy spray of Optimum shine, and followed over with Megs Endurance

That is a big job! I gripe enough about Escalades and Suburbans. ;) Anyway, the paint has a really nice glow. :)

How long did it take you to do that RV?

BTW, great choice with #20, worked great on the 45` Newell Motor Coach I did this winter, buffed it off with OCW.

Huh, baby wipes? What did they actually do for you? I have never heard of using baby wipes. Learn something new everyday :waxing:
