I just ordered some ONR and supposedly you can use it as a QD and Clay Lubricant. Does anyone here actually use it for those purposes?

yes - you will need very little - don`t waste it unneccessarily.

I`ve put in 1.5 - 2 oz per 32 oz of water. (Directions say 6oz per gallon of water.) I guess I`ll use this as my "QD with Cleaning Abilities" for bird bombs and such. How important is it to use distilled water in the mixtures?

unless the MFG says so - I`d not worry about it.
