Some of you know that I haven`t had a chance to even wash my car since November because of the weather and the accident in December.

I finally got the chance to start Saturday (in the 50s). I was able to power wash the engine, undercarriage and wheels. Then bring it home for a deeper cleaning with Megs Instant Wheel Cleaner on the rims (man did it need that!), and a hand wash with an extra strong GC wash. I was only able to clay the hood, roof, both front fenders and the passenger door before I had to quit, Got Overspay?

Besides the overspray from the body shop (there`s a lot) the clay was pulling up a ton of other crap. Now the weekend is gone, and it`s supposed to rain all week :ticked Now I have to suffer with a half clayed, unprotected car until the weekend :(

I am not sure how your are going to make it. Even when I was in Fairbanks during the winter I could let the car sit in the garage for a few hours and get something done. I feel your pain, man.

Since you mentioned the overspray, does that mean that the repairs were not done to your satisfaction?

No, the work was fine. There was just a fine mist of overspray on the front clip, no big deal.
