An old neighbor found me detailing in her moms garage and told me of a co-worker that wanted a detail. So he called me yesterday and i detailed it today.
I would still be working on it if it wasn`t for a friend of mine who came to help
( THANKS FRANK !!!!!!!!!!! )
So, another abused vehicle, paint was like sandpaper and the interior had 6 years of baseball and football players in and out of it. Plus the owner is a Real estate agent so she has signs and stuff in and out of it. I did my best with some of the real hard to reach areas in terms of cleaning the carpet. maybe you guys can provide me with some tips.
So, i tried to split up the duties so that the detail would go fast and easy.
I washed and he worked and the wheels / tires / wheel wells. I vacuumed and he clayed.
I worked on the carpets and he worked and the dash, door panels, etc..
I polished and he worked on the mats. I waxed while he worked on windows and dressing the interior. Took us about 4 hours or so.
Here goes,
Exterior
Wash - Meg`s GC shampoo
Clay - Meg`s Clay
Polish - SSR2.5/IP ( 70/30 ) via PC yellow pad
Wax - Megs Liquid # 26 via PC white pad
Windows - Stoners
Wheels / tires / wheel wells - Simple green and dressed with Megs Hotshine
Interior
Vacuum
LGCM with bissell solution and simple green as spot treatment.
Woolite for dash and door panels, dressed with Meg`s trim and dash foam

I asked frank, lines or triangles, he picked lines, after seeing the drivers floor, i resorted back to triangles :nana:
