2. Gunk Foam and CD2 Engine Detail. You can do engines FAST by spraying the engine, scrubbing the problem spots, a rinse, then finish with CD2.

6. Poorboys SSR3, Menzerna Power Gloss, 3M PI II RC
7. Any polishes from Poorboys, Menzerna, Megs, 3M, and on . . .
8. Dark: Pinnacle Souveran (paste); Clearkote Carnauba Moose (liquid)

10. Cleaner: woolite; Care: Wolfgang: Neglected: Leatherique
11. Stoners Invisible Glass
12. Cleaner: Woolite or Simple Green

13. DEWALT! Funny you ask about this one being that me=y Makita 9227 crapped out on me last weekend. My replacement will not be here for quite some time so I went and bought a DeWalt 849. The Makita may very well end up for sale on here if my friend decides not to buy it so if anyone is interested keep watching. If this question is concerning the orbital polishers disregard the above rant and get the PC 7336 from Lowes.

Tire and wheel cleaner: whatever I`m cleaning the rest of the car with.

Engine Degreaser: Meg`s APC+, but my engine compartment doesn`t get that dirty. Everythig I`ve used works great.

Engine compartment spray: don`t use one.

Fender well cleaner: car wash soap and a stiff brush, spray with Armor All foaming tire shine.

Paint cleaner: for heavy cleaning, Meg`s MPPC. For light cleaning, there are quite a few that all work really well. I guess I`d choose Menzerna FP.

Scratch remover: Langka

Swirl Mark Remover: By hand, ScratchX. By machine, Menzerna IP or Meg`s #80.

Wax: For dark colors, Souveran or Meg`s #26. For light colors, flip a coin; maybe Natty`s, or #16. If you`re talking sealants, lots of them are good; I`ll give a slight preference to NXT, but I also really like 4* UPP, very wet.

Car wash soap: Anything that is a dedicated soap. Big props to two inbetween products, PB`s Spray & Wipe and QEW.

Leather care: I like Griot`s

Window Cleaner: I like Griots, and also Invisible Glass

Rubber & Vinyl Cleaner: Meg`s #40.

PC or Dewalt: haven`t used the DeWalt, the PC works just fine for me, as does my $25 Harbor Freight rotary.

Online Detailing Forum: I dunno, they`re all worth what you put into them. The more commitment you make, the more you get back.

A lot of fine products mentioned here. To be honest, my "favs" change pretty frequently. There are just so many good products available nowadays............ and new products seem to come out daily.

That wasn`t always the case a few years back (and further). Back then, there wasn`t a real need or effort for the manufacturers to "improve" their products. Today, that`s changed drastically. Competition is good for us consumers! :bigups

Having said all that, if you use quality products from most of the manufactures that you see here at DC and other places, and use them correctly........ you will be quite pleased with your results.
