A SC`ed black HD edition Ford--FILTHY *56K* no way

This truck belongs to one of my oldest customers, I was 17 and going door to door in my Dad’s truck when I first started doing work for him. I still have not convinced him on the proper wash methods, but he doesn’t seem concerned. He just calls me when they get filthy, swirled, or are about to sold. I don’t really mind, his referrals more than make up for it. :D



The truck is a daily driver, tow pig for his hot rods, business car, and hauls kids�it always needs attention.



This detail took around 8 hours to complete.



Wash

The paint received HT extreme cut/optimum polish via rotary @1500 RPM’s (meg’s polishing pad)



Black fire SRC finishing polish via PC @speed 6 (SM Arnold green pad)



Meguiars gold class (new formula) x2



Optimum polymer wax



Tires are dressed with Meguiars all-season dressing



All exterior trim dressed with Hi-Temp bumper restorer



The interior process was:

Vac



Clean carpets with APC 10:1



All leather vinyl received APC 10:1



Steam cleaned cracks and crevices



Dressed all vinyl and leather with 3M/scotchbrite vinyl and leather protector (refresh)



The engine was degreased, then dressed with Meguiars hyperdressing 1:1

LOL, thanks man--I really appreciate that.



I use the costco steamer--I can`t detail without it so if it dies I will have to buy a "real" one.



Which optmum product? I must have typed something wrong.





I like it a lot--you must wipe it down, but it doesn`t run when applied correctly. It also lasts through *several* washes, just don`t overapply it.





Scroder, as posted above I used hyperdressing for the engine and all-season dressing on the tires....
