hey guys. if you`ve been following my frustration it has gotten better i must say. the Z-PC i was using on an orange cutting pad was not doing it. so i decided to try the ssr2.5 on it and it did do a better job. i did around 4 passes on my trunk and they were minimized. i then applyed 3 coats of z5 pro with the blue finishing pad and everything looked good. i looked back a few mins later from a different angle with the flurosents and halogens and the scratches were still there. any one have experiance with mazda rx-8 clear coat b4? im applying pressure. is it because i have layers of zaino on there that it is taking more time and passes to break down? i have the white polishing pads coming on thursday and i was thinking of giving it another try then when i can apply the ssr2.5 with the orange pad after a couple of passes and then finish it off with the white polising pad. i have meg`s scratch x, #9, klasse aio to use as well.

Not sure what color your car is, but the one I take care of has a pretty hard clear. I need to use my rotary to correct.

FYI, you can have 100 layers of zaino on your car - one pass with ssr 2.5 and they are all gone.

TRY A YELLOW CUTTING PAD. Do very slow passes and buff until the 2.5 starts to dust

Good luck
