What polish to use under Duragloss 105?

My car`s paint is in good condition, 02` Gray/Silver Altima. But it has some minor scratches. I thought I should just spot treat them with ScratchX. If in case I am not satisfied with the result, what polish should I use (after claying of course) to prep the paint for Duragloss products later. Something OTC if possible.

I would try to either find some mothers power polish or maybe some meguiars pro line.

Since Duragloss is available otc and your lsp will be DG, why not stick with the DG family of products and use their PC-#2 or their SMR for these light scratches?
