Was wondering, when buying a new car, do we have to put protectant? Or is it pre-applied by the manufacturer?

What`s a good OTC protectant and rubber dressing?

Thanks!

303 Protectant @ about 12 bucks for 16oz or Meg`s #40 @ about 10 bucks for 16 oz. I actually like the #40 better.. tho some may disagree. It has a somewhat synthetic leather smell.. and is JUST shiny enough to tell it`s there, but not too glossy.

Greetings fm2n! Welcome to Autopia :wavey

I asked this not to long ago and basically I was told Scotchguard (if you have time) or 303 Protectant works good. I will be watching this thread also to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

Those are kinda two diff things... you could use Scotchguard on the carpet, and 303 on the vinyl and rubber.
