View Full Version : Mits EVO 8 stage 1 paint?

Hey guys,
I done a Diamond Red 2004 Mits Evo8. I noticed when I polised with AIO, I see red paint on my pad. So, if paint are coming out. Its this mean its stage one paint? :eek It`s not only me, it happened to all red color.

yep! pretty weird tho. im pretty sure ive seen those cars cc but if red paint came off and it didnt look in bad condition in the first place (which might be a result of clearcoat failure) it should be singlestage. he probably repainted.

Nope, its only have 800 miles on it. Hardy drive it. So the CC is crap out huh?

I`m pretty sure all the mitsubishi paints without metallic flake or pearls are single stage. Which would then make yours single stage.

Not True , Not all Mitsubishi paints are not single stage I have a 91 eclipse that is red with clear cote..
Im Gonna be detailing/ buffing a yellow evo with-in a week I`ll tell you all how it goes..

he was referring to evo`s. they come in all sorts of paints.
