I had to wash a dragster while owner was installing carpeting inside my house. Owner didn`t want water sprayed onto the car and I only had about 1.5 hours to do the job. QEW to the rescue. I used AIO as a one-step polish/wax. Used some NevrDull dipped in Brasso to give me a quick shine on wheelie bars and aluminum wheels. Had to use a soft brush to remove the rubber built up in the back from the burnouts that they do.

It was a fun job. A lot of passers-by gawked at the car in my driveway.

We started up the car to get it back on its trailer. Did a couple of dips into the throttle to "check the engine". Filled up the air with alcohol exhaust and really loud (but beautiful sounding) open header noise. I had fun. It was different.

Drag cars need cleaning too! A cleaner car allows proper airflow.

I seen that car running at Englishtown last week, nice car and very quick.

I think it runs the 1/4 mile around 8 secs. It still doesn`t have any nitrous but is built to take it. Car runs at Englishtown or Atco.

I was warned not to mess with the parachute cable by my wife. She said that it was spring-loaded and would knock me down if it hit me. It`s pretty interesting how different these cars are from a street-legal car. It sure is a single-purpose car made just to go down the track in as low a time as possible.
