Well this is my girlfriends dads Navigator that has been washed once in the last year and is pretty nasty. The good thing is that it`s probably only been to the swirl-o-matic less than 25-30 times (unlike the rest of their cars  ). Big party so I made it look good. Wheels wells weren`t dressed until I dropped the car off onsite (I keep some detailing supplies there as well). First time rotary usage and it wasn`t bad at all. My rotary of choice was the Hitachi SP18VA.

Process:

Wash with Chemical Guys Maxi Suds

Clay with Clay Magic

SSR 2.5 at 1400 RPM via LC Orange

Pro-Polish at 1600 RPM via LC White

Butter Wet Wax Speed 3 via LC Grey

Tires and trim dressed with VRT

Wheel wells dressed with No Touch (don`t hear anything about them on here)

Pictures: Sorry no full before shots or many before shots but this it was oxidized and had pretty good swirls/marring.

Very deep and wet. Paint looks relatively swirl free as well. Nice work.

Looks like it turned out really nice! How much time did you put into taping it off and polishing it?

I had it overnight so I probably spent around 8-9 hours...I went through a ton of painters tape

Man that`s a nice ride. How do you like the rotary? I honestly haven`t reached for my Cyclo since I`ve gotten good at finishing out with one.

I`m surprised you got that good of a result with SSR2.5, I found that it flashed way too quickly on me @1400rpms. In the future you might want to try hi-temp`s line or Menzerna, via rotary they really do a top-flight job. I find that I don`t even have to tape off anymore with FPII, still have to tape for the compounds though.

I think it`s amazing...I got the feel of it right away. I hated doing correction with the PC and this thing is right up my alley.
