Doing some work at an aircraft maint place and saw some boys using air powered drum buffers on a corporate jet, G4 if interested, man these tools are amazing.

Using some sort of jewelers rouge and lambs wool (?) pads the aluminum leading edges of the wings, stabilizer, engine cans and reversers were buffed to such a high gloss that it was literally like looking into a mirror. As amazing as the level of shine was the fact that not one single fastener, and there are dozens and dozens on each section of the bright work, had a molecule of scum left in the head or around the fastener; even the recessed indentification of the fasteners appeared to be perfectly clean..

Never saw or have even heard of these tools before but I understand that they are being marketed to very high end shops including car detailers, at about 2k usd each. Aside from the cost of the tool, providing enough air, 55cfm, will set you back somewhat, they were using a Belgium made screw compressor that I would like to have just to put in the living room and look at.

Anyone seen or heard of these tools before?
