What do you recommend for clearcoated polished rims that were dulled by using metal polish?

A good clearcoat polish. Anything you use on your paint should work, but if it was my car I`d wetsand any scratches/scuffs out with 2000 grit then go OHC -> FPII -> Duragloss AquaWax. You can use a PC and 4" pads, or really you could use any 6.5" pad that you don`t care for.
The rotary works too, but you better really not care about the pad you`re using as any scuff/bolt/edge you catch while using a rotary will destroy the pad.
