thanks
I need a tent, as i`m sick of detailing in the sun.
But between hockey, golf, and detailing, the wife has restricted my tent fund. So i`m looking for something economical yet effective.
The one I posted is cheap, and 15x15.... I`m interested in people`s opinions on it...

I think the main things would be ease of setup and take down if its anything like pitching some of these tents for camping I`ve seen theres no way I wanna go down that road!

They have a 12X12 at Wal Mart for 88.98. I have 2 of them. Very sturdy and well built.

If you end up getting the one you posted, you may want to make sure a car will fit between two of it`s legs.

Does anyone know of a brand that have good height clearence? I`ve been to Sports Authority, KMart, and Walmart. Just that my SUV won`t fit under those the tents due to the retractable arm support under the canopy. The ones at CostCo and Sam`s have some nice ones, but they are too large to fit in my driveway.

I plan on getting them and making some stands that can make the height adjustable..probably 5 gallon buckets..not good for carrying around but will work at my house.

I just bought a 9x12 at Wal-Mart for $30. I think for the price, it`ll work alright for most vehicles. :waxing:

I have an EZ-UP Eclipse III, it`s the best $230 I ever spent. It has been opened and closed probably over 200 times in the past three years and it`s as good as new. Opens and closes easily for one person and it folds down to 48" so it takes up very little room in the trunk. Mine is a 10x10 but I think they also have a 10x20 in that model.
One thing to keep in mind when buying one of these types of tents. If the manufacturer offers a dark color like blue or red in place of white get the color. The white tents make a lot of glare and if you want shade I`d say go for the blue.

I have this 10x10 (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=10029394&whse=&topnav=&browse=&s=1) from Costco which I bought in store for $190. I have used it three days a week for about three months now and it works great. I don`t work on many full sized SUVs, FWIW. SB is pretty temperate 10 months out of the year. Although the KD 10x15 would have fit the bill perfectly I just couldn`t justify spending close to $700. The Costco guy is pretty damn sturdy. HTH

LOL I don`t think you will be moving that one around to much, I think I`m going to go for one of these EZ up ones.

I have one of these as well. It is very big but one person can set it up and take it down just not easily.
