Hey guys I have a quick question. My backing plate on my porter cable is 5 inches would it be ok to use a 6.5 size pad?? It seems a bit big but I could really find a smaller pad on autogeek so I just ordered those bad boys.

Yes you can use it, but the 6.5" pad will be less aggressive with a smaller backplate to help firm it up, and simply because it`s a slightly larger pad. Are you using this pad just for waxing or what?

Just remember that the bigger the pad, the less pressure you can apply with the PC without it bogging down.
