Selling a 99 CL Gold with Tan interior and 112K, is asking 7,500 to much? Would sell at 7,000. Car is in great condition. Front end repainted to get rid of some rock chips. Properly maintained in all aspects (paint, tires, engine).

How much do you think its worth?

Also how do you suggest keeping it looking good for buyers coming to look at it? ONR wash weekly and spray wax? ONR QD?

I would assume that could sell for that price. What is PP blue book on it? If it`s in really good condition (looks like it is)... then ask in the upper range of PP value, or between PP and dealer.

Also... show your car at night!!! You look like you have good paint so I don`t really think that is being dishonest... even the best paint looks better at night.

For this I`d just say clay and wax it... then have a good QD on hand... maybe use Endurance gel on the tires so they stay black w/ less frequent applications.

If you are not in a rush... I`d say ask at least 7700 for the first couple weeks if not longer. Depends on how quick you need to sell.

EDIT: Remember... selling private party... "excellent" condition is 100% relative to what people know about cars and car care. My car still has alot of swirls right now... but alot of people would say it`s "excellent" condition... while I`d say fair at best. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Make it look it`s best and start w/ a higher price.

We have plenty of time to sell, my brother is browsing for a 330ci right now. The car paint is in great condition and is up to autopian standards. Its been under my care for 3 years now.

Then yeah, just make sure it looks good when people see it, and don`t ask too low starting off.

Starting off at 7500 and would sell with an offer above 7000
