How feasible to follow rotary polishing with hand polishing?

I`ve seen it said that sometimes a random orbital is required after rotary usage, to remove the final bit of swirling which the rotary itself may introduce. How feasible is it to do this final stage of polishing by hand?

depends how good you are on the rotary..if your good then a hand polish will be okay, if your not so good then a pc will be needed



i worked in a body shop for year and all we had was a rotary polisher and i finished up by hand.
