I just got my 92 mustang back with a new top and am eager to detail it. I usually use a good wash, dry, glaze, and wax. Sometimes I use meguiars paint cleaner before, depending on how bad the paint is. Is there anything i can use before or after the glaze to help give it a deep, wet look?

I use Meguiars #7 for a glaze and #26 for a wax. This time I will be claybarring the car since I do that about once a year as well.

Any suggestions?

P.S...Great forum you guys have here.

Well, firts of all welcome, second of all I like #26 on blakc, gives a glow to the paint

Are you claying?

For wettest of the wet....

wash

clay

Polish

jewl or final polish

glaze, #7 shoudl be good here.

A quality nuba, #26 is ok, but you might want to try Souveran, if that`s too exspensive, shoot for Natty Blue.

I assume with the products oyu have, if you clay and polish before the other steps, you should see a great improvement.

What are some suggestions for polishes and final polishes, preferably for something I could get at a parts store ?
