I am not sure of the bonding requirments of Aquawax, but would like to try it over RMG if possible.

Any input/experience would be appreciated.

Thanks

It may work..never know till you try it..it has no cleaner so it will not wipe it off..so try it and see....would be interesting to see results...

The first time I used AW it was over several coats of Mothers Gold wax/cleaner and it worked great! Beautiful wet shine. Mike

So, here`s what I did.

RMG

Natty`s

Aquawax

Wet, reflective, the whole nine yards

There was zero streaking, or issues of anysort for that matter.

Didn`t have the guts to try Aquawax over straight RMG on this car, but I may try it on the other car.

After this trial I would venture to say it would work, just not sure if it would compromise durability.

We shall see.

Thanks for the responses.

the ability to use AW over either wax or sealants makes it such a versatile product- you can get the depth of a good carnauba and the gloss of a sealant

Ive used Aquawax over and under varous different products with good results. Over a period of time here is a tip. After a wash use Nano spray . do this 2 more times after a wash . After the 4th wash use Aquawax. Aquawax will seal in the fillers in Nano spray, and make the depth, and gloss last longer. This is great for dark colors. Of course if your paint is perfect just use the Aquawax.
