daily driver scratches

Ran an 02 Saturn Sedan back to the house, I guess their kid dragged a bookbag across the roof and trunk. and their cat across the hood.



There were hundreds of fine scratches, some long, some short, but they were all deep and threw everything but the kitchen sink at it..



Rotary, wool pad, cutting pads, OHC, DACP. and barely made a dent.



This thing has never been detailed or even waxed, but where it isnt scratched, it`s absolutely flawless



Any other last ditch attempts I should try? besides wetsanding (not gonna do it anyway)



I have never seen one this bad, I`ll throw up pics at noon

I thought of rubbing it in, but they dont want me to go overboard on it.



Plus it has Saturns wonderful plastic panels, cept the hood roof trunk

I`ve got scratches on the GTI that just are not going to come out without a respray.



It`s a fact of life with a DD, methinks.
