I was trying to take a pix of the reflection of the words in my mirror but on a white car its a killer to do .. finally the pro photographer next door told me to focus about 5" on past where the door is cuz thats how far the mirror letters are from the paint.

I was trying to show off how you can make White reflect too but apparently the pearl fools the camera into thinking funny things.

Even a lot of the pictures I take from certain angles the pearl makes it look like matte white .

if you don`t mind me asking.

What prep work did you do?

Which of the Z, K, WG products did you use and was it in that order?

Curious as to why you didn`t pop it with Soveran or P21S or Collinite?

Great shot, Dee. :)

I agree, white paint tends to wash out in pics and the reflections you see in person disappear on film.

For example, the full sun almost directly overhead made the reflections on the hood wash out (although the side in the shade looks good)-

But a slightly different angle, plus a lower sun and somewhat hazier lighting conditions altered the color of the paint but made the wetness and gloss way more apparent-

Was over a period of a couple of weeks .. Polishing it out was about 20+ hours .. the rest was all by hand , a layer a day etc ..
