Need Help With Maxima Detail Asap!!

Hey guys, I need this maxima done in about 3 and 1/2 hours, and I have finshed the interior and washed/ clayed/ s&w`d the exterior. The car has TERRIBLE holograms from dealer detailing, and there swirls a plenty from the local swirl o matic. Now, I need youre help determining how to attack this to get it looking as good as possible with the products and how to effectievly use them.



What I have-



PB SSR 2.5

PB SSR 1

Meg`s #3 machine glaze

Natty`s Blue

Nattys White

2x LC Orange Cutting

1x LC White

1x LC Grey Finishing

PC7424- How long should it take to break down ssr2.5 and 1 and what speeds/pressures should I use?

I would hit it with the ssr1 and an orange pad. Lightly at first then lean in if you get poor results. If that doesn`t shift them then upgrade to ssr2.5 on the other orange pad. If you get that far then remember to go back over with the ssr1 (whte pad) if you get some marring from the ssr2.5.



Can`t be sure with speeds, or pressure as I`ve never used Poorboys (yet!) but keep working the polish until it has almost disappeared and only a slight sheen is left. Be sure to watch for polish drying out on the edges of your pad as this can cause it`s own (unwanted) marring.



Then I`d use the grey finishing pad for your glaze, and top it with Natty`s blue by hand.

yeah what he said...just work one panel to see what process you will need for the rest of the car....should take about 3 hours at my speeds to complete the outside from where you are

In fact, now I think about it a little more, you may not have so much time for the glaze to cure before putting the Nattys on. I`d probably skip the Natty`s unless you plan to visit again tomorrow for the LSP...

D3mon, you missed the window squgee, the dirty bath towel, the armor all orig, and the windex! :o :nixweiss



Hahah... havent used that waterblade in years, and the bath towel is for use witht the armor all in the wheel wells.

Glaze has to cure? for how long and with it on the car or after wiped off?

I may be getting confused with sealants and glazes, but these coatings usually take a good 24hours or so to properly cure? Can anyone throw me a bone on that?

A glaze doesn`t need to cure. They`re temporary shine products that fill in minor imperfections and are usually topped with a wax.
