I had the GMC Line-X`ed yesterday after I discovered a very small spot of rust under the plastic bed liner. Knowing that I couldn`t sleep at night, I had to get it fixed stat.

They did a great job but a few spots of overspray on one of the rims and a verrrry small spot on the paint.

How can I get this stuff off without scratching the paint & rims? Will a claybar work?

Thanks

Alex

You could try a claybar should take it off... if not maybe a mild polish?

I`m out of state now with minimal detail supplies. I may try to find an auto parts place and try the claybar.

I attempted to get it off with my figernail and this stuff is STRONG.

Um, why not make them take it off since it`s their fault?

Go back to them and have them remove it. That stuff is tough as concrete.

If you damage anything trying to get it of... shame on you.

If they damage anything trying to take it of... they get to fix it! :D

Try some denatured Alcohol that can be purchased at any paint store. I had the same problem and that is what the shop that sprayed the liner used to take off the overspray. Good Luck!

I agree,

Very hard to get off, you should have them take it off before you mess something up. Or call them and ask them what they use.
