This is my dad`s S2000 that I "detailed" this past weekend. I use the word detailed very lightly since the car didn`t require much work. He keeps it garaged and it never sees rain or snow, so it was pretty much perfect.

Process:

Clay Bar`d

2 layers of NXT Paste

1 layer of Megs #26

Overall it came out great and reflects great. Unfortunately the sun was starting to go down so you can`t see the metallic pop the paint gets in direct sunlight.

Hey, it`s not bad for a 55 year old man. He`s planning to turbo it next summer too. He`s got more kid left in him than me, and he just retired. Yeah, the Silverstone Metallic paint sparkles so much in the sun it almost resembles a bass boat. I`ll try to get some sun shots this evening.

yeah sorry to rag on you, but your dad ruined the look of the S2000.

No need to rag on me. I hate Chryslers but I won`t rag on someones detail thread of a 300C. To me, the only thing that is important is that the owner likes the car and the way it looks. He loves it and that`s what matters IMO. I`m glad to see everybody focusing on the detail and not the car itself.

No problem, I know most people won`t like the look of it, but it`s my first official "detail" since joining the boards and from what I`ve learned here. I was pretty happy with the results. I was trying to showoff the detail not the car.

Yeah it`s cool. The detail looks good. I`m really biased against rice because of all the crap on the streets here where I live... but hey at least your`s is well taken care of, garaged, polished rice. :xyxthumbs
