I had this car come in today that had the worst case of overspray. Well actually it was tar, the vehicle was behind a tar truck. This lady keeps her vehicle in the garage and being it is an `04 Tahoe, it was in great shape. Except for the overspray. It felt like 320 grit sandpaper. The lady wasn`t even aware of it till I informed her that there was a problem. So we had to reschedule for later in the week. (easily a 5 hour job).
It was so bad that the chamois was leaving hairs on the "overspray balls" and the windows had little lint balls on them from the paper towels, like the windows just experienced a light snow falling.
Wish a picture would do just for you to have a better understanding.
