I hate water spots with a passion! javascript:smilie(``)

I have the reverse osmosis at my house to fill up a 250 gal tank. That fills the125 tank in my van, to start the day. That covers me for my scheduled appointments during the day. In the evening I have 2 DI tanks in my van for when I wash dealership cars and run out of water. I fill up at the dealerships. These tanks cost me 250 every time I have them recharged. About every 3 weeks. They say there only good for about 1500 gallons. I put I a whole house sediment filter in front of the tanks to prolong the tanks to about 2000 gallons. I’m looking for a cheaper solution to replace the DI tanks.

Things that are key for me
1 price
2 size the tanks are 4 feet tall 15 in diameter (they take up a lot of room)
3 Gallons per minute (gpm) I don’t want to spend all night filling up my tank.

I found this so far and was wondering if anyone has used\or uses it.

I have a simiular filter up for bid on ebay. It works pretty good but DI is better.

I have a RO/DI water system for my salt water aqurium. I got it cheap on ebay. I has a 3 gallon holding tank that it fills. Where does all that water go and how long does it take you till fill up 125 gallons? Does it shut off automatically? With a 3:1 waste ratio thats seems like a lot of water. Did it significantly increase your water bill? RO/DI water would definitely be the way to go to no have to worry about spots.
