Well, I have a cheap-o "eurovac" steamer, and I was playing with it on the car. I sprayed it on the exterior and was wondering if it would melt-away the carnuaba wax or the AIO from the paint?? After using the steam cleaner on the lower panels, it seems to work great at loosening tar and buggies from the paint surface, but I don`t want to sacrifice the protection offered from sealing and waxing. Thanks!

I`d think for sure it would hose carnauba, not sure about acrylics though.

id wouldnt use that on the paint. Id stick to using it on just the rims, tires, engine, interior etc.

Why wouldn`t you use it on the exterior paint?

Careful using the steamer on the engine, steam can get into places water wont and rust things up. I was told off by my mechanic hubby for using the steamer on the engine.
