First Detail Ever!

Hello everybody! i`ve been lurking on here for a while (reading and learning a lot), but finally decided to show some of my results using the knowledge offered on autopia!



this is a 2002 toyota corolla, and has been waxed only once to my knowledge. i`ve driven it between VA and CA three times without ever knowing how important paint care is.



I washed with gold class, clayed with meguiar`s quik clay using gold class for lube, polished some trouble areas with scratchx, and finished with NXT paste wax.

Looks good for your first detail. That`s quite a mess in the 2nd to the last photo though :p

Ifg the reflection in the saide panel wasn`t so good, we`d never have noticed the mess in the second last pic!! :lol

haha, thank you for the comments. the mess was from a greddy emanage install the night before and i thought it would show the reflection nicely.

yes sir, i`ve had them for a long time. even though everyone and their mother has them now, i cant justify getting new wheels because i love their look and how light they are.
