I was helping out a friend who has NetZero internet, and I decided I needed some tech help so I called them. NetZero preceeded to tell me it was going to be $1.95 PER MINUTE for any tech support. Is it just me or is this insane? I then asked for the billing department, and was happy to find out it was a free call and then I preceeded to cancel the service. I got her hooked up with SBC now changing to ATT for high speed 14.95 per month versus the 9.95 she had at NetZero. I explained to her that it probably would have been a twenty minute call or 40 extra bucks, so it is like 8 months of the difference between high speed DSL and that garbage of a company NetZero! She loves the high speed at can`t believe how much faster it is and no popups or ads. All because NetZero thinks they can charge 2 bucks a minute for tech support. At least tell me your wearing pumps if your going to make that kind of charge.
