A buddy asked me to `clean up` his Harley so he can sell it. He told me his biggest concern was the tank because it `was dull and had no shine`. The color is solid black.

The right side of the tank looked like somebody has used Scotchbrite or steel wool on it. Maybe they were trying to clean up some tree sap or tar or whatever, but the swirls/scratches were pretty bad. The left side had `normal` swirls, the kind you get from improper washing techniques.

I used a PC with 4" pads. Process was:

Yellow/SSR2.5/Speed 5-6 (2x)

Orange/SSR2.5/Speed 5-6 (1x)

Green/SSR2/Speed 5 (2x)

Green/VM/Speed 4 (1x)

S100 paste by hand (2x for coverage)

Sorry about the picture quality, I`m having a little trouble with my camera.
