I did some research here and seen alot of people say that it is filled with abbrasives and some say there is a ton on cleaners in it. I want to know if this was true so i emailed them. This is there reply.

Me:

I need to know for sure if your liquid glass polish/finish has any abrasives or cleaners in it. Even if its a small amount i need to know for sure.

Liquid glass:

Liquid Glass Polish/Finish contains no abrasives or cleaners. However, some of the petroleum distillates in the product will act minimally as a cleaning agent.

Thank you for your e-mail.

Sincerely,

Michael Trueba Jr

If there are no abrasives or cleaners why do they have polish in their name?

If there are no abrasives or cleaners why do they have polish in their name?Same reason that the Escort had a GT version, because they can.

well calling sealants (polish) are old shcool..zaino calls them polish...Duragloss calls them polish..some european products are called polish and there are few others also...years ago anything that was liquid and added protection and shine to paint was called polish...

I know it gets confusing ...some day they will get it straight...

But I know nothing of the Liquid Glass product...

but in old days..Blue coral was called polish...Ralleye was called polish..megs called everything a polish except for the wax...even furniture polish that had no abrasives..

Some day they may have a standard..lol

the word "polish" means different things to different people. Duragloss and Zaino also call their sealants "polishes"...it`s a matter of word choice.

The MSDS does show that there are abrasives, but I find it wierd that the name of the product on that MSDS is "Liquid Glass Ultimate Auto Polish/Cleaner /Finish

To me the MSDS does show silica (like sand) an abrasive. It also shows that only 14% of the content of the product helps the shine of the car. JMHO
