I have seen a lot of people coming down on OP for being too "light" recently, and wanted to share a couple pics from a detail I did this weekend. I was stuck with OP as my heaviest direct sun friendly compound, and I was pretty happy with its performance.

OP w/ Excel Yellow pad on PC at speed 6. (only 1 pass)

Very nice - what kind of paint is it? I find on softer paints OC/OP are more than enough for light swirl removal.

It was an Evolution VIII. The paint was pretty soft, and had lots of orange peel :(

Swirl removal, no matter what the pad and polish combo can be very paint hardness dependent. I do find that OP is very good on most paint at light to moderate defect removal but on Audis, Corvette`s, etc, I have to step up to the compound or Hyper.

Yep that ^^. Japanese cars in general have softer paint; OP does a good job on hondas/acuras/nissans/infiniti`s. On German or American cars normally you have to move up to at least OC to see results.
