Have been using FK 146 for about a month now. Bought the big one Gallon, with 1 gallon of 425 ($5 shipping, NICE!). I use 146 imediately after washing the car to clear up water spots and any to clear any remaining soil. Leaves a very nice slick surface (make me wonder if I need 425).

THe other day some bird bombs on the hood ruined a fresh detailing.

I cleaned off the bird bombs with the 146. No problems.

Will 146 strip the FX100, Paste wax or Spray Gloss?

p.s.

(tried the Mother`s FX spray gloss, nice job for an OTC)

Interesting question. I too use the heck out of the 146 and find I go to it more often than 145. I do like to spritz 145 over wax prior to buffing it off. 146 is fantastic stuff

From what I was told by FK... 146 will not remove any other FK products.

I was told the same. Neither 146,425 or FX-100 will remove anything, only add to the finish.

I kinda think I don`t really need 425 after using 146. 146 is almost as slick and cleans much better. I find it a bit easier to use too. It seems to spread easier.

I think 425 is much slicker than 146.

I`ve washed the car and only used 425 and it had the just waxed smoothness.

146 was smooth but still needed some more attention.

425 is much better on glass/wheels too.
