Can someone tell me what the numbers on car cleaning products mean. . .and what does it mean when a product dosent have a number. i just purchased meguiars step 2 deep crystal polish system, which dosent have a number. while looking for this product i spotted #7 glazes and # 22 waxes and so on. what does this mean?

Are you referring to Meguiar`s numbering? Their Mirror Glaze Professional series uses numbers. It`s just marketing, really. There isn`t any standardized numbering system used across the board among the different brands. The numbers I think you`re referring to are specific to Meguiar`s, and then again are only associated with their "Professional" line.
Unless I`m misinterpreting your question..
