I have a 1999 Mustang Cobra that had the front plastic spoiler replaced a few years ago. Now there are a few areas where the clearcoat is delaminating from the paint and flaking off. Paint still looks great. What is the best way to stop the clearcoat from flaking and fix it right?
I have a 1999 Mustang Cobra that had the front plastic spoiler replaced a few years ago. Now there are a few areas where the clearcoat is delaminating from the paint and flaking off. Paint still looks great. What is the best way to stop the clearcoat from flaking and fix it right?
Going to have to have the clear redone. If it is flaking it sounds like it is not bonding to the paint so they will need to sand it all off. Probably just end up painting the whole part again.
