I saw this on another car message board, seems like a lot of swirl removal by hand. Scroll down to bottom of page to find procedure, it just seems a little odd to me.

Didn`t see anything odd in it. Standard techniques. Would have used a better wax myself.

Someone on the forums used to do excellent work and did it all by hand. Scottwax maybe it was?

He didn`t remove any swirls, just glazed over them. They`ll be back in a few weeks.

Yeah, I just read his steps. It is basically what your typical dealer or high valume detail shop would do.

Especially with show car glaze under deep crystal wax. There was no actual restoration done. First big rainstorm and that car will be swirl city again.

Note that none of the "after" shots were in direct sunlight or framed at an angle where you`d see any cobweb halo that was still there.

PC.

Looks like there are BlackSunshines on every darn board these days. There`s that one, there`s one over at DC, I have seen them on other car forums I frequent... and here I thought I was being original.

I`m curious to see how his work holds up after a wash or two...
