I was looking at the edge2000 pads online and thought it was a great idea. I really like the fact you can use that beveled edge for the hard to reach places. Anywho, before i drop about $80 on 2 adapters (i have a DA porter & rotary) and 2 pads I wanted to get an idea of what y`all thought about these pads...good, bad or indifferent.

I don`t detail as a profession so I would mainly be using these pads on my personal cars whose paint is kept in excellent condition.

Any info will help.

Edge 2K pads are so worth it, I love my kit. Even buddies who had a bunch invested in velcro/hook and loop pads don`t even bother with those anymore. Only negative I can think of is the price, and technically it`s really a good deal since the pads are double sided. I can use one side on my suv, flip over to the clean side, and use that on the other side of the truck. Plus the pads are perfectly balanced and are top notch quality :2thumbs:

the green pad works really well. the yellow pad has bigger pores and leaves hollogramming-the smaller pore/stiffer foam of their orange pad might be the better choice. their new waffle pads are supposed to leave a nicer finish vs the flat pad.
